Who We Are

The Senior Citizens Center is a place where Senior Citizens age 50 and over can come and have a good time with old friends and make some new ones.  The coffee pot is always on and a smile is on each face.

We have a full library of all different kinds of reading books that can be taken, read and returned.  Take as many as you like and bring some of your books in to share with others.

We have a computer that is always on-line with DSL.  Feel free to use it anytime you like during regular business hours.  8:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

We like to eat, have fun and fellowship.  We try very hard to find reasons to have parties.  (And it doesn't take much)

Several Home Health Agencies come each month for different kinds of FREE Screenings.  We have Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar and Cholesterol Checks on a regular bases.  See the Monthly Calendar for dates and times of these screenings.

Meal A Day Program is also run out of the Senior Citizens Center.  We serve a hot and delicious meal everyday from 10:00 until 11:30.  Each meal is $ 2.00.  You can eat at the Senior Center or take it with you.  We have a weekly menu that is posted in the Sunday NewsTelegram and KSST announces the menu for the day.  I will also try to keep the Weekly Menu posted on this Web site under: Meal A Day Menu.

Other Programs offered at the Senior Citizens Center

The Senior Citizen's Center also hosts special programs that Seniors can take advantage of: Preventative Health Screenings, Foot Clinics (that include pedicures, nail trimming and  checks by Registered Nurses), Speakers talking about Home Safety and Fall Prevention, Drivers Safety Programs and Counselors talking about Medicare and Social Security Benefits.
