Meal A Day Cooks and Drivers Help Feed Senior Shut Ins Daily
Thursday Cooks: Debbie Young, Fran Francis, Tom Young, Vera Skaggs, Patsy Shaw and Taylor Moore Meal A Day is served Monday - Friday 10:00 - 11:30 $ 2.00 a Plate | All Meal A Day Cooks and Drivers are Volunteers. These wonderful and dedicated people give so much to our community. They work hard each day to provide delicious hot cooked meals daily to be delivered to Shut-Ins in and Seniors who can't cook for themselves any longer. If you are interested in being a volunteer for the Meal A Day Program please contact Juanita Wallace at (903) 885-1661 or (903) 885-9657. You don't have to be a gourmet cook. You don't even have to plan what you are cooking. All of the ingredients, menus and cooking instructions are there for you. We have head cooks already we just need some "Pot Stirrers" and "Helpers". You will see that working at the Senior Center for the Meal A Day Program is very rewarding. |
